Saturday- 2 conformation shows; Open to ALL presas/dogos Sunday-
All dogs called presas are invited, no matter who bred them, who they are registered with, or what club you belong to. Paperwork need not be presented to enter, however the dog must be intact. This event is about learning about the breed from experienced Canarian and Spanish judges; Finding out if your dog "has what it takes" as well as seeing what's out there in this country. You will get exposure to different dogs, kennels and bloodlines, as well as exposure to what's possible for this breed. |

What people have to say about the
Monographica shows: FROM THE BREEDER / Co-OWNER OF BELLA III (2009 Mono winner) --- AT THE SHOW, I LISTENED TO SOME PEOPLE BRAGGING ABOUT THE CHAMPIONS IN THIER PRESA/DOGO BLOODLINES FROM YEARS AGO. MANY YEARS AGO , MANY MANY YEARS AGO IN SPAIN. USING SOMEONE ELSE's ACCOMPLISHMENT TO PROMOTE SALES.??? FANCY WEB SITES?? SKIP THE SMALL TALK, WE ALREADY KNOW THE PRESA ORIGINATED FROM SPAIN AND ITS ABOUT TIME WE AS AMERICAN BREEDERS WHO HAVE 3-5 OR MORE GENERATIONS BRED IN AMERICA GET SOME CREDIT FOR OUR BREEDINGS AND HARD WORK... I WANT TO THANK ALL THE CLUB OFFICIALS,CARLA AND STEVEN WALKER, RANDY GREEN , JENNIFER CHANDLER AND MOST OF ALL JUDGE FELIPE ALBERTO LlANO P....FOR A GREAT SHOW AND THE MOST SATISIFYING WIN ....... JOHN AND DOREEN PEPONAKIS
From attendee Jeffrey Batiste: While I know most on this board really make sure to distinguish between the 2types and don't care for Dogo's; I thought it was great that these guys put it together and I participated knowing that my dog in their eyes was probably gonna be too small. That said I had a good time and met some Dog people that really loved their dogs... It was a good time! From previous attendee Johnny of GreJon Kennels: Duke your experience mirrors the ones I have had attending MonoG. It is a good time and the organizers are very welcoming. Even people who have no business being treated nicely because of the hate they spew on the boards are treated respectfully. I'd attend MonoG any time I could squeeze it into my schedule.
