  • FCI standard #346 as the only official standard of excellence by which the Dogo Canario shall be judged.
  • the purebred dog of correct phenotype by sponsoring the only breed surveys that take place outside of Spain.
  • the purebred dog of sound mind by sponsoring temperament tests and working trials.
  • the purebred dog of good health by promoting OFA, PennHip and other health screening of breeding dogs.
  • sponsoring specialty shows within the United States and Puerto Rico.
  • COE breeder referral, quarterly newsletter and other member benefits.
The DCCA has been working for the betterment of the breed, and increasing public
